Tanya's most prominent achievement came early: she was named Playboy Playmate of the Month for February 1992, a recognition that launched her into the spotlight. Her popularity with readers was significant, as she finished second in a readers' poll for Playmate of the Year in 1993, narrowly losing to Cady Cantrell. Her pictorials were widely praised by art critics, with some describing her as "perhaps the most photogenic nude model of all time" and comparing her body to ancient sculptures. During her career, she appeared in 22 covers, 18 photosets, and 4 videos, and posed nude for fifteen Playboy special edition publications. She also featured in several Playboy videos and held the title of Playmate of the Month in international editions, including Playboy Mexico in February 1992, and Playboy Italy and Germany in March 1992.

Beyond her print work, Tanya's only film role was a non-sex part in the adult movie "Fantasy Women."
