Biography
About Cady Cantrell
Cady Cantrell is a former American Playboy model and centerfold, best remembered as the Playmate of the Month for April 1992. She was born on September 12, 1972, in Lanett, Alabama, and at age 13 moved to Norcross, Georgia. There she was a high school cheerleader and later worked as a waitress at Hooters while living in Georgia.
Cady's Playboy career began when she was just 19, posing nude for the magazine in 1992. She appeared on the cover of the video 'Playmate Six-Pack' released in 1992 on VHS and laserdisc, which was #1 for eight consecutive weeks in the special interest category. She also appeared in 'Playboy's Wet and Wild IV,' featuring two outdoor vignettes on a boat with full nudity. Additionally, she was featured in 23 Playboy newsstand special editions and numerous Playboy videos. At the time, before the internet, her nude photos in Playboy were viewed by over 5 million men.
Cady was part of a group of Playmates known as the 'dream teens,' a clique of teenage playmates in the early 90s that included Wendy Kaye, Julie Clark, Tanya Beyer, Tiffany Sloan, Echo Johnson, and Jennifer LeRoy. She was a favorite of Hugh Hefner, who wanted to name her Playmate of the Year for 1993, but the promotion involved alcoholic beverage sponsors, and Cady, being 19, was below the legal drinking age. Hefner reluctantly chose Anna Nicole Smith instead, though readers and subscribers voted overwhelmingly for Cady.
In 1993, Cady appeared in an episode of 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' ('Fresh Prince After Dark') alongside other Playmates and Hugh Hefner. She is 5'7" with blonde hair, hazel eyes, and a slim build, with measurements 36-24-36. She identifies as bisexual. Despite her career, she has no tattoos or piercings.
