About Tairrie B
Tairrie B is an American musician whose career spans four decades and multiple genres. She first gained attention in the late 1980s as a member of the dance group Bardeux, from 1986 to 1987, before striking out on her own as a hip hop artist. Her 1990 debut album, Power of a Woman, released on Eazy-E's Ruthless Records, earned favorable reviews but failed to chart. Around the same time, she was allegedly punched twice by Dr. Dre at the 1990 Grammy Awards, an incident that became part of her early notoriety.
By the mid-1990s, Tairrie shifted her musical focus to alternative metal and nu metal. In 1993, she formed the band Manhole, which released its debut album All Is Not Well in 1996. Legal constraints forced a name change to Tura Satana, under which the band released Relief Through Release in 1997 and disbanded in 1999. That year, Tairrie founded My Ruin, and the band's debut album Speak and Destroy came out months later. In early 2000, she began dating guitarist Mick Murphy, who joined My Ruin and co-wrote and co-produced its second album, A Prayer Under Pressure of Violent Anguish. By 2005, the two were the only official members of the band, and they married in December 2008.
She also has a brief acting credit, appearing nude on-screen in the 1994 anthology film Erotique, her only acting role to date. Tairrie has black hair and blue eyes, and she maintains an average build. Her body art includes tattoos, and her on-camera content includes topless nudity, as well as girl-girl scenes involving kissing and boob touching.
