Her transition to adult films came in May 2008 when she joined the cast of a production by the Brasileirinhas studio, titled 'Pecados & Temptations.' It was subsequently confirmed that she had committed suicide by ingesting rat poison. She was 50 years old. Her career in adult entertainment spanned from 1991 to 2009, beginning when she was around 31, and she remained active for 18 years. Leila was straight, with black hair and brown eyes.
