Nani Venancio

Brazilian actress, model, and presenter Nani Venancio has built a career that spans nearly four decades. Born in Galileia, Minas Gerais, Brazil, she started in 1987 as an advertising model and actress. Her big break came with the January 1989 cover of Brazilian Playboy, which earned her the title of muse of the summer. Discovered by nightlife impresario Chico Recarey, she conquered the beaches of Rio de Janeiro and later captured the attention of Prince Felipe of Spain. The European press took notice, and she appeared on the cover of three Spanish Interviu magazines.

Venancio transitioned to television in the early 1990s. In 1990, she appeared in the opening of the telenovela Pantanal on Rede Manchete and debuted as an actress in the miniseries O Canto das Sereias. She followed with roles in O Guarani and the miniseries Incident in Antares, and also presented VT Show. Her work on TV Globo included Olho no Olho and Incident in Antares. From 1994 to 1997, she hosted Nani Mulher on Rede Mulher. In 1997, she performed her last acting role in the soap opera Mandacaru on Rede Manchete.

Since 1999, Venancio has focused on presenting. She hosted Questão de Opinião on RecordTV and Altos Papos on RedeTV! Since 2009, she has presented A Tarde é Show on RBTV. She also made two unsuccessful attempts at a political career in 2012 and 2014. At 57, she remains active in the industry. She is mixed-race, primarily Latin, with black hair and brown eyes, and a slim, natural figure.
