Grace Palmer

New Zealand actress Grace Palmer was born on 9 November 1994 in Tai Tapu, New Zealand. Her parents, Tony Palmer and Janine Morrell-Gunn, are both television producers. Her mother is Māori of the Ngāti Kahungunu iwi, and her father is of New Zealand European descent. Palmer attended St Margaret's College, where she studied theatre, before moving to Sydney, Australia, to take acting courses while working at a bar.

Palmer's first television role came in 2014 with a guest appearance as Monique Wu on the Australian show Home and Away. She then played her most notable role, Lucy Rickman, on the prime-time soap opera Shortland Street from 2014 to 2017. In 2018, she made her Hollywood debut as Deb in the film Adrift, starring Shailene Woodley and Sam Claflin. She created and starred in the comedy web series Good Grief in 2020, alongside her sister Eve Palmer. In 2022, she appeared on The Masked Singer NZ as a New Zealand possum, eliminated in Episode 6. In 2023, she co-starred with Joel McHale in the Fox comedy series Animal Control.

Palmer is 31 years old, stands 5'5" tall, and has a slim build with natural breasts. She is mixed-race and has black hair. She continues to act, building a varied career across television and film.
