About Daniela Perez
Daniela Perez had a petite frame, standing 5'4" with a slim build, black hair, and brown eyes. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she was Brazilian and of Caucasian ethnicity. She began her career at around 18, quickly rising as a star on Brazilian TV in the late 1980s. Her work included telenovelas such as Barriga de Aluguel (1990), De Corpo e Alma (1992), and O Dono do Mundo (1991), all written by her mother. She was also a former ballet dancer and model, and identified as straight.
Tragically, her life was cut short at age 22. On December 28, 1992, she was murdered by her De Corpo e Alma co-star Guilherme de Pádua and his then wife Paula Thomaz. The crime, marked by unhealthy jealousy, profane rites, and psychopathy, scandalized the press and police and left a lasting mark on society's imagination.
