Carina Round

Carina Round is a British musician known for her solo work and for performing with Puscifer. Born on 20 April 1979 in Wolverhampton, United Kingdom, she has built a career spanning over two decades. Her debut album, The First Blood Mystery, was recorded at Magic Garden Studios with producer Gavin Monaghan, mixed in ten days, and released in 2001. She toured the UK with Glenn Tilbrook. Her second album, The Disconnection, came in 2003, also with Monaghan. The cover shot, by Anoushka Fisz, was later replaced for the US release. Comparisons were drawn to Björk, Jeff Buckley, and Robert Plant. She promoted the album with tours in the UK, US, and alongside Damien Dempsey and James Blunt.

In 2005, she moved to LA to record Slow Motion Addict with Glen Ballard, which took a year to release in 2007. That year she appeared on "Cruel Melody" with Black Light Burns and supported Annie Lennox on tour. In 2009, she joined Puscifer as a touring member, contributing to their album Conditions of My Parole. She also sang on The Twilight Singers' Dynamite Steps and worked with John Debney and Marco Beltrami. Her alt-country side project, Early Winters, released an album around that time.
