About Eliza Doolittle
At 5'6" with a slim build, Eliza Doolittle carries herself with the easy presence of a seasoned performer. Born Eliza Sophie Caird in Westminster, London, she began singing in live venues around the city from the age of 15. Her warm brown eyes and natural brown hair matched the down-to-earth charm she brought to her early shows.
Her big break came in 2008 when she signed to Parlophone. Her debut album, released on 12 July 2010, went platinum and delivered two UK top-40 hits, with "Pack Up" reaching the top five. In 2013, she co-wrote and sang on "You & Me" with Disclosure, a track from their number one album Settle. That same year, she premiered "Big When I Was Little," a single that joined BBC Radio 1's and Radio 2's playlists before appearing on her second album, In Your Hands.
Eliza continued to evolve with 2018's A Real Romantic, which included "Wasn't Looking," "Livid," and "Alone & Unafraid." A video for "Wasn't Looking" on YouTube's Colors channel amassed 26 million views. In 2022, she released A Sky Without Stars, featuring "Straight Talker" and "Everywhere I'll Ever Be." A British musician now often performing simply as Eliza, she welcomed her first child in 2024 with her partner, film director Charlie Robins.
