She was born in College Station, Texas, on October 2, 1990, and made her in-ring debut at just 19 years old. Over 16 years, she competed for major promotions like Ring of Honor, Shine Wrestling, TNA, and Women of Wrestling (WOW), where she performed under the ring name Abilene Maverick. Hayden's most notable achievement came on January 25, 2014, when she won the NWA World Women's Championship by defeating Kacee Carlisle. She held that title for 378 days, successfully defending it eleven times, including a win over Santana Garrett at WSU Mutiny, before losing it to Garrett on February 7, 2015.

Her career highlights include a victory over Raquel in a qualifying match at TNA One Night Only: Knockouts Knockdown 2016, earning a spot in the Queen of the Knockouts Gauntlet Battle Royal. She debuted for Shine Wrestling at SHINE 32 in 2016, defeating Renee Michelle, and followed that with a win over Leah Vaughan at SHINE 33. Under the WOW banner, Hayden debuted as a face before turning heel and bullying Stephy Slays, culminating in a backstage attack that cemented her villainous persona.
Hayden retired from professional wrestling on July 22, 2019, to focus on performing stage shows in Las Vegas. She returned to WOW in 2023 and captured the WOW World Championship. Throughout her career, she amassed multiple titles, including the ACW American Joshi Championship, the ACW Televised Championship, and four NWA Lonestar Women's Championships. In 2014, Pro Wrestling Illustrated ranked her No. 12 of the top 50 female wrestlers. With 59,000 Instagram followers, she remains a notable figure in the wrestling community, though her focus has shifted to entertainment beyond the ring.
