Alina Anghel

She honed her skills at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York City, and also trained at Rogue's West Studio, JBA Studios, and with Mel Tuck. Her breakthrough role came as Alice in the award-winning film Reverie (2017). She also wrote the screenplay for and played the lead in Busy (2016), which screened at The Vancouver Asian Film Festival. Her other acting credits include Joe Personman (2017), The Medium (2016), Beyond the Old Road (2017), Channo Kamli Yaar Di (2016), and Persona Non Grata (2017). On the commercial side, she has appeared in spots for White Spot, Taste & Circle, and a Nature Valley North America-wide TV commercial produced by McCann. She also led in the music videos Boy If You Don't Stop (2018), directed by Nathan Penner, and Say Something (2016), directed by Mike Southworth.
