Tereza Maxova

During her career, Tereza worked with renowned photographers such as Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Testino, and Peter Lindbergh. She appeared on the covers of British Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, and Cosmopolitan. She modeled for fashion houses including Dior, Chanel, Prada, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, and Ralph Lauren, and she appeared in advertising campaigns for brands like Marks & Spencer, the Czech football team, Škoda, Karl Lagerfeld, Donna Karan, Hermes, La Perla, Vichy, Oriflame, and L'Oréal. In February 2009, she appeared on the British television show Piers Morgan on... in a program about Monaco.

Beyond modeling, Tereza is known for her charity work. In 1997, she established the Tereza Maxová Foundation to aid underprivileged children in the Czech Republic, and by 2009 it had sent more than 130 million crowns to support such children in foster families and children's homes. On 18 March 2000, she married Danish tennis player Frederik Fetterlein, and they had a son, Tobias Joshua Fetterlein, in September 2000. After the marriage ended, she moved to Monaco with Turkish businessman Burak Öymen. She gave birth to a daughter, Mína Öymen Maxová, in May 2009, and a son, Aiden Öymen Max, in September 2011. She married Burak in October 2016 in Didim, Turkey. Tereza's father was Catholic and her mother was Jewish, and she celebrates Christmas.
