Alena Seredova

The Czech surname Šereda ironically means ugly person, yet Alena Šeredová has built a career on her striking looks, standing 5'11" with a slim frame and natural 36C bust. Born in Prague on 21 March 1978, she first caught attention as first runner-up of Miss Czech Republic 1998. She went on to represent her country at Miss World 1998, finishing fourth.

Though she began modeling in 2002, her career had already taken off in the late 1990s. Italian comedian Giorgio Panariello chose her to co-host his prime-time TV show Torno Sabato. She has appeared on the covers of Penthouse Europe, Playboy Europe, Spy, Extreme, and Quo magazines, and in 2005 was selected for the Max Calendar. Šeredová has also worked as a showgirl and actress.

Her personal life has been equally colorful. She married Italian footballer Gianluigi Buffon in June 2011, and they have two sons, Louis Thomas and David Lee. The couple separated in May 2014. She later entered a relationship with businessman Alessandro Nasi, and they have a daughter born in 2020. Šeredová co-owns the Italian clothing line Baci e Abbracci with footballer Christian Vieri. She has a sister, Eliška, who is also a model.
