Tanya Tucker is an American musician and country music artist who has been active since 1971, when she was around 12 years old. Born on October 10, 1958, in Seminole, Texas, she had her first hit, "Delta Dawn," in 1972 at age 13. Over her 55-year career, she became one of the few child performers to mature into adulthood without losing her audience, notching a streak of Top 10 and Top 40 hits. She has released several successful albums, earned multiple Country Music Association award nominations, and scored hits like "Blood Red and Goin' Down" (1975), "Lizzie and the Rainman" (1975), and "Strong Enough to Bend" (1988).
Tucker's personal life has been as eventful as her career. She had relationships with Glen Campbell, Merle Haggard, Andy Gibb, and Don Johnson. June 25, 1999), saying she didn't want to walk down the aisle pregnant in her wedding dress. Laseter co-produced her albums in 2002 (Tanya), 2005 (Live at Billy Bob's Texas), and 2009 (My Turn).
