Sofia Hellqvist

Sofia Hellqvist is a Swedish glamour model, former reality TV star, and royalty. She first came to public attention in 2004 when she was voted Miss Slitz by readers of the men's magazine Slitz. That same year, she appeared in a photoshoot wearing only a bikini bottom and a live boa constrictor around her upper body, an image that resurfaced in 2010 when her relationship with Prince Carl Philip became known.

Sofia was born in Danderyd, Sweden, and grew up in Täby before moving to Älvdalen at age six. She later studied in Stockholm, where she worked part-time as a waitress and glamour model. In 2005, she competed on the reality show Paradise Hotel on TV4, reaching the final. During the show, she had a much-publicized feud with fellow contestant Olinda Borggren, which ended when Sofia voted her off. After the show, she moved to New York City to train as a yoga teacher and opened her own yoga center in Manhattan. While in the US, she made headlines by revealing a kiss with US porn star Jenna Jameson in Las Vegas.

In 2009, Sofia traveled to Ghana for volunteer work, helping build a women's center. In August 2010, the Swedish Royal Court confirmed her relationship with Prince Carl Philip, and the couple moved in together in Djurgården in 2011. They announced their engagement in June 2014 and plan to marry on 13 June 2015. Today, at 41, she is blue-eyed and slim, with brown hair and natural breasts.
