About Patricia Navidad

Edited by the community

Patricia Navidad, born Ana Patricia Navidad Lara on May 20, 1973, in El Carrizal, Sinaloa, Mexico, is a Mexican actress. Her path to stardom began with music. Inspired by her father, Jesus, she first sang publicly at a school festival at age nine, and made her professional debut at fifteen. Two years later, she entered the Señorita Sinaloa contest, which offered a scholarship to Televisa's Centro de Educación Artística in Mexico City.

At CEA, she acted in Los Parientes Pobres in 1993, and later in Cañaveral de Pasiones. That role caught the country's attention, and within three years she was a well-known actress. From 1997 to 2000, she starred with René Casados in the comedy musical show Picardía Mexicana. She appeared in several telenovelas, most notably Mariana de la Noche in 2003 as Yadira. In 1998, she released the album Instantes, which sold over 100,000 copies. In 2000, she was named Queen of the Banda at the Carnival of Mazatlán for the album Don Cruz Lizárraga presenta a Patricia Navidad: Raíces de mi tierra.

Patricia once faced controversy after an argument with El Gordo y La Flaca co-host Raul de Molina, which led her to walk off the show. Her latest role was as Alicia Ferreira in La Fea Más Bella. At 53, she stands 5'8" tall with brown hair, hazel eyes, and a slim build. She has no tattoos or piercings.
