Ana De La Reguera

Standing 5'3" with a slim build, Ana De La Reguera is a Mexican actress whose career spans three decades, beginning in 1996 when she was around 19 years old. Born in Heroica Veracruz, Veracruz, Mexico, she has worked extensively in Mexican film, theater, and television, as well as in Hollywood productions. Her early film roles include Por la libre, directed by Juan Carlos de Llaca, and Un secreto de Esperanza. In 2003, she appeared in Ladies' Night alongside Ana Claudia Talancón, and in 2005 she starred in Gitanas, which aired on Telemundo in the United States.

Ana gained international recognition for her role as Sister Encarnación in Nacho Libre, directed by Jared Hess. In 2006, she hosted the MTV Latin America Awards with the band Molotov. She continued with films such as Sultanes del Sur, Paraíso Travel, and A Happy Death. In 2009, she starred in Backyard: El backyard, directed by Carlos Carrera, playing a police officer investigating the murders of women in Ciudad Juárez. The following year, she appeared in Cop Out alongside Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan, performing her lines entirely in Spanish. She also participated in the HBO Latin American series Capadocia and performed in a theatrical adaptation of Othello. In 2011, she appeared in Cowboys & Aliens. Her filmography includes Hidalgo: The Untold Story with Demián Bichir. With 1.2 million Instagram followers, she remains a prominent figure in Latin entertainment.
