Biography
About Patricia Isaac
Patricia Isaac stands out as an actress with a business career before her arts one. Born on July 11, 1987, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, she is Canadian and of Asian ethnicity. She grew up performing in school and church plays, then studied Economics and Political Science at the University of Alberta. While still a student, she became the youngest Account Executive in Canada for a major IT corporation, a rare blend of corporate and creative worlds. Her success in business did not dim her acting pull, so she took evening classes at Edmonton's Citadel Theatre and then moved to Vancouver to pursue acting. In Vancouver, she landed roles in films and network series, including Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Hallmark's Harvest Moon, SYFY's The Magicians, TNT's Proof, ABC's Motive, The CW's Smallville, and CBC's Little Dog. With a business background, producing came naturally, and she is developing a project with Flower Films, founded by Drew Barrymore. Patricia also co-founded the Vancouver International South Asian Film Festival, which launched in 2010. Now 39, with black hair and brown eyes, she stands 5'7" tall. Her two-decade career shows a pattern of reinvention, from economics to executive to acting to festival founder. She brings a unique perspective to her work, one shaped by both boardrooms and stages.
