About Mimi Lesseos
Mimi Diane Lesseos, also known as Magnificent Mimi, was born on February 25, 1964, in Los Angeles County, California, into a family of five children. Her father was Greek and her mother Latino. She started martial arts at age six. Growing up in Hollywood, she eventually entered professional wrestling in 1988, joining the American Wrestling Association. She competed against women like Candi Devine and Lori Lynne for the top contender spot for the AWA World Women's Championship. The champion at the time, Madusa Miceli, refused to grant her singles matches, so Lesseos interrupted title defenses. She also teamed with Wendi Richter in tag matches. Eventually she earned singles matches but could not win the title. In December 1989, she posed for Playboy with the AWA title belt, although she never held it.
After the AWA closed, Lesseos moved to the Ladies Professional Wrestling Association, where she contended for the championship. She wrestled Malia Hosaka, Sindy Paradise, Dawn Marie, Jan Flame, and La Gata. With Denise Storm she formed a tag team. She retired from wrestling in 1994.
Then came acting and stunt work. She has appeared in films and TV shows such as Million Dollar Baby, Gangs of New York, The Scorpion King, and The X-Files. For many years she was the stuntwoman for Jane Kaczmarek on Malcolm in the Middle. She is also a single mother of twins. At 62, with an athletic build, she remains active as a glamour model, actress, and producer. She is American, of mixed-race ethnicity primarily Caucasian. Her social media presence includes an Instagram following of 34k.
