Michelle Lou Lan

Slim with brown hair and brown eyes, Michelle Lou Lan is a Chinese-American former ballet dancer turned entrepreneur and digital creator. Born in China on January 20, 1983, she is Asian and identifies as straight. Her career began early: she became a professional principal ballet dancer at age 8, but a career-ending injury redirected her path toward yoga.

She founded MeshYoga, a yoga-centered practice and clothing brand, and created DaBo, a fitness tool media outlets have praised for changing yoga. She has studied Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga, taught in major cities globally, and delivered a TED Talk called "The Perfection of Social Media." Her work has been featured by Forbes, FLAUNT, and MensXP.
