Martika Ibarra

Martika Ibarra, a Mexican model and former Playboy Model, was born on June 17, 1972, in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. At 54, she reflects on a career that began when she was discovered by a modeling agent at sixteen. That same week, she won the Miss Beach Cities Model Search contest. Her professional debut was a campaign for Rio Beachwear, soon followed by Bacardi television and magazine ads. She later appeared on the cover of Sports Truck Magazine's July 2003 edition.

Ibarra gained widespread attention when she posed for Playboy, becoming Cyber Girl of the Week on October 2, 2000. Despite the publicity, she preferred to keep her career in non-adult enterprises, including design and real estate. In 2005, she posed for the 'Latin Summer Girls Calendar' and became a spokesmodel for Lulu Cosmetics. She also appeared in Playboy's Cyber Girl Special Edition and the magazine's 2005-2006 lingerie catalog.
