About Marianna Komlos

Edited by the community

Marianna Komlos was a Canadian bodybuilder, fitness model, and professional wrestling valet. She is perhaps best remembered for her time in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) during the Attitude Era, where she played "Marianna," also known as "Mrs. Cleavage." Her role in a controversial storyline with wrestler Mosh/Beaver Cleavage was brief but left a lasting impression on fans. Born in Kitimat, British Columbia, she grew up with a passion for fitness and competition.

Before stepping into the wrestling ring, Komlos competed in bodybuilding and fitness competitions, winning titles and earning recognition as a fitness model. Standing at just 5'4" with a muscular build, she defied expectations in a sport often dominated by taller athletes. Her transition to wrestling in 1999 brought her national attention, even as the storyline drew criticism. She retired from active involvement around 2000, but her impact on the industry remained.

Tragically, Komlos passed away on September 26, 2004, at the age of 35, after a battle with breast cancer. She had been fighting the illness for over a year, and her death was reported across multiple sources, including wrestling databases and contemporary news. She married Paul Lazenby in 2004, just months before her death. Her legacy as a pioneering figure in both bodybuilding and wrestling continues to be remembered by fans and peers alike.
