Maite Perroni

Maite Perroni is a Mexican actress, singer, and influencer. She was born on Wednesday 9th of March 1983 in Mexico City, Mexico, and has been active in entertainment since 2004. She stands 5'3" with black hair and brown eyes, and has a slim build. She is of Latin ethnicity and identifies as straight.

Perroni first gained international fame in 2004 as a member of the Latin pop group RBD, which was nominated for a Latin Grammy. Her acting career began the same year, and she has since starred in numerous telenovelas. In 2009, Univision named her "The New Queen of Telenovelas." In 2016, she won the Premios TVyNovelas for Best Actress of the Year for her work in Antes muerta que Lichita. More recently, she is known for starring in the Netflix series Dark Desire.

Beyond acting, Perroni has pursued a music career. In 2012, she signed with Warner Music Group, and the following year released her debut solo album Eclipse de Luna, which reached the third position on the AMPROFON Top 20 chart and ninth on the Billboard Latin Albums chart. She is also active on social media, with millions of followers across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. In her personal life, she married producer Andrés Tovar in 2022, and they have a daughter named Lía, born in 2023. She currently lives in Los Angeles, California.
