Biography
About Leslie Glass
Leslie Glass was an American adult model, actress, and animal rights activist whose life story is as striking as her career. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she grew up in the southwest part of the city, graduating from Mercy High School and later attending the Maryland Institute College of Art. Before her rise in the modeling world, she worked as a bartender at Hammerjack's Concert Hall and Nightclub, where her energetic dancing on the bar made her a local favorite. During the 1980s, she also founded and managed a women's lingerie and bikini dance troupe and performed as a feature dancer at a strip club in Dundalk.
Glass's career took a significant turn when she traveled to Atlantic City to work as a round card girl at boxing matches, which led to a feature in Playboy. This exposure caught Penthouse's attention, and in February 1992, at age 28, she was named Pet of the Month. She later became Penthouse Pet of the Year Runner-Up in 1994. Around that time, she signed with Vivid Video and appeared in several girl-girl films, working alongside Janine. Her measurements are 36-24-36, and she has brown hair and brown eyes.
Beyond her entertainment career, Glass was deeply committed to animal welfare, founding Pet-4-Pets, an animal rescue and care organization. She also had a passion for skateboarding and taught the sport to others. In 1998, she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, which had already spread to her liver. She underwent surgery, participated in experimental chemotherapy, and became the first person in the United States to receive a particular drug cocktail. She continued to work and speak publicly about her illness. Leslie Glass passed away on August 4, 2000, at age 36.
