Katy Garbi, born Katerina Garbi on the 8th of June 1961 in Athens, Greece, first stepped into the music world at just 16. Now at 65, she has spent 49 years performing, a career that has made her a familiar voice in Greece and Cyprus, with a following in Turkey as well. She is Greek, a musician by profession, and her catalog includes several multi-platinum albums. Among them are Arhizo Polemo from 1996 and Evaisthisies from 1997, two of the decade's best-sellers. Her recordings have moved over 2 million copies in Greece and abroad.
