Katarina Spasojevic

Katarina Spasojevic, crowned Miss Minnesota USA 2021, stands out for her blend of academic achievement and pageantry. Born on June 9, 2001, in Minnetonka, Minnesota, she grew up as the oldest of three siblings, taking pride in being a role model. Living in the land of 10,000 lakes made her an avid nature lover, and she often enjoys time on the lake.

A first-generation college student, Katarina pursued business law and marketing at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Her academic excellence earned her a spot on Alpha Epsilon Phi's honor roll, the dean's list, and the President's Emerging Scholarship. She now works as a commercial model, having appeared in Target advertisements, walked in bridal runways, and been published in two Parisian magazines. Her passion lies in encouraging young women to practice self-care and embrace who they are.

On August 1, 2021, Katarina was crowned Miss Minnesota USA at the Ames Center in Burnsville, succeeding Taylor Fondie. At 25, she is American and Serbian, with a slim build, brown hair and eyes, and stands 5'8". She has no tattoos or piercings and maintains a natural look. A model and former beauty pageant contestant, she also works as a ring girl.
