Gal Gadot

Israeli actress Gal Gadot first made her mark as Gisele Yashar in Fast & Furious (2009), a role she reprised across five sequels. Her breakthrough came with her portrayal of Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe, spanning films like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Wonder Woman (2017), Justice League (2017), and Wonder Woman 1984 (2020). She has also appeared in Netflix's Red Notice (2021) and the mystery film Death on the Nile (2022). Gadot was named one of Time's 100 most influential people in 2018 and has twice ranked among the world's highest-paid actresses.

Born in Petah Tikva, Israel, Gadot entered the Miss Israel pageant at 18, thinking it would be fun, and won, later competing in Miss Universe 2004 in Ecuador. She has modeled for Miss Sixty, Huawei, Captain Morgan, Gucci fragrances, Vine Vera skincare, and Jaguar Cars. At 20, she served in the Israel Defense Forces as a combat fitness instructor for her mandatory two years, a background she credits for helping her land the role in Fast & Furious, noting that director Justin Lin wanted to use her knowledge of weapons. After military service, she studied law at IDC Herzliya college.

In 2019, Gadot and her husband, Yaron Varsano, formed the production company Pilot Wave, and she co-produced Wonder Woman 1984. She is of Ashkenazi Jewish descent and has been married to Varsano since 2008; they have four daughters. She has a slim build, stands 5'10", and has brown hair and brown eyes.
