Jane Badler

Jane Badler is best known for playing Diana, the villainous reptilian Visitor leader, in the V franchise: the 1983 mini-series V, V: The Final Battle, the 1984 TV series, and the final season of the 2009 reboot. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on Thursday 31st of December 1953, she grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire, where she attended Central High School. She won the Miss New Hampshire title and competed at the 1972 Miss America Pageant. Later, she studied drama at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.

Her first major role came in 1977 on the soap opera One Life to Live, playing Melinda Cramer Janssen until 1981, with a brief return in 1983. She also starred on The Doctors. Jane played Meredith Braxton on Falcon Crest from 1986 to 1987, and Agent Shannon Reed in the Mission: Impossible revival, which was shot in Australia. After filming that show, she settled in Australia, becoming an Australian citizen by nationality. She married businessman Stephen Haines, and they have two sons, Sam and Harry.

Her Australian TV credits include Cluedo and a guest spot on Snowy River: The McGregor Saga. In the 1990s, she launched a stage and cabaret career, including the one-woman show The Love Goddess: Rita Hayworth. She stands 5'5" with black hair and hazel eyes, and her natural measurements are 34–25–34. A 72-year-old actress, she continues to be recognized for her iconic sci-fi role. She is Caucasian, of average build, and her work as an actress spans decades and continents.
