About Iga Swiatek
Polish tennis player Iga Swiatek has established herself as one of the most dominant figures in women's tennis. Born in Warsaw, Masovian, Poland, she began her professional career in 2016 and has been active for a decade. In 2022, she went on a 37-match winning streak, the longest on the WTA Tour in the 21st century, and reached world No. 1. She finished 2022 as the year-end No. 1, repeated that in 2023, and won the French Open three straight times from 2022 to 2024. After a year of form struggles, she won her first grass-court title at the 2025 Wimbledon Championships.
Swiatek has an all-court playing style. She has held the world No. 1 ranking for 125 weeks.
