Grace Lee Whitney, born on Tuesday 1st of April 1930 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States, was an American actress and singer. She is best remembered for playing Janice Rand on the original Star Trek television series and in subsequent Star Trek films. Her career spanned over five decades, from 1954 to 2007.
