Alona Tal

Alona Tal is an Israeli actress, singer, musician, producer, and former military personnel known for her television roles. She has been active in the entertainment industry since 2003, with a career spanning over two decades. Tal is recognized for playing Meg Manning in Veronica Mars and Jo Harvelle in Supernatural.

Born in Herzliya, Israel, on October 20, 1983, she is Jewish and has described herself as a spiritual person. Her father, Ami Tal, a computer professional of Sephardic Jewish (Turkish-Jewish) descent, and her mother, Ayala (née Sabat), a lawyer of Ashkenazi Jewish (Polish-Jewish) descent, were both born in Israel. Tal served in the Israel Defense Forces's military theatre before starting her acting career.

Her early work included a children's musical video tape where she played an evil witch, a commercial for laundry detergent, and the lead role in the Israeli film Lihiyot Kochav (To Be A Star). She stands 5'4" with blonde hair and hazel eyes, maintaining a slim build. Tal began her career at age 19 and has since worked across multiple genres. She has amassed 193,000 followers on Instagram.
