Dasha Nekrasova

Nekrasova is perhaps best known as the co-host of the cultural commentary podcast "Red Scare," which she started on March 29, 2018, with cultural critic and writer Anna Khachiyan. The show has been associated with the dirtbag left, the new right, and the Dimes Square subculture in New York City. It covers American culture and politics in both comedic and serious tones. In 2020, she made her directing debut with "The Scary of Sixty-First," starring herself, Betsey Brown, and Madeline Quinn. She appears in a supporting role in season three of the HBO drama "Succession" as Comfrey, a crisis PR rep. In 2024, she modeled topless for No Agency New York Magazine's "No Erotica Issue #4."

Nekrasova has been referenced in pop culture. In a 2021 New York Times interview, Sydney Sweeney cited Nekrasova and Khachiyan as inspiration for her "mean girl" portrayal in "The White Lotus." In 2024, Charli XCX said her song "Mean Girls" was partly inspired by Nekrasova. Nekrasova is of Belarusian descent. She married visual artist Reilly Sinanan in May 2025. She has dated musician Daniel Lopatin and is the former fiancée of comedian Adam Friedland. She describes herself as a "Slovak Ruthenian Carpatho-Rusyn Greek" Eastern Catholic and is critical of Pope Francis, calling him a "layperson," "heretic," and "antipope."
