She later became the Penthouse Girl in the German Penthouse for September 1983. Over the years, she appeared on the covers of Neue Revue, Lui, Oui, Exklusiv, Star Ladies, Sexy, Cover Girls, New York, High Society, Quick, Excelsior, Stern, Bunte, the 1985 D&W catalog, the Underfashion catalog, and posed for various television productions. In 2012, photographer Stefan Dokoupil shot her again for Penthouse. She also acted in a handful of films and videos. In 1983 she appeared in Taifun der Zärtlichkeit (also known as The Story of the Dolls), a light-hearted production that reportedly marked the end of the Munich production company Geiselgasteig Film GmbH. In 1985 she starred in the German lingerie commercial A Midsummer Night's Dream. Two years later, she appeared in the video for World of Promises with the Swedish hard rock group Treat. She also worked with Falco, appearing in the 1984 video No Answer (Hallo Deutschland) and later in the 1998 production Falco – Hoch wie nie. In 2006, a collection of soft porn films titled Girls in Action included her 1985 film A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Outside modeling and acting, Cimarolli pursued chess with notable success. She won the title of Salzburg State Chess Champion and reached a national Elo rating of around 1700. In a simultaneous chess match against world champion Anatoly Karpov, she managed two draws and one loss, a rare achievement for an amateur player. With her slim build, brown hair, and brown eyes, she stands 5'8" and weighs 128 lbs. Her bust is natural, and she has performed solo and partnered scenes in her work.
