Anna Ventura

Ventura initially declined hardcore work, but a compelling offer for the film Bad Girls, starring opposite Pia Snow (later known as scream queen Michelle Bauer), convinced her to accept. The film became one of the year's biggest hits. Despite her success, Ventura was selective about her hardcore projects, noting that she had the most fun working with director Fred Lincoln, with whom she lived in NYC for a time along with his then-girlfriend, Tiffany Clark. In 1983, she decided to retire from the business, though not completely, and was rumored to be dating an editor of a major rock music magazine. By the late 1980s, she had married and started a family, eventually having four children, three girls and a boy, mirroring her own siblings.

Ventura led a quiet life as a wife and mother until the early 2000s, when she discovered a Yahoo Group dedicated to her. She joined under the username 'Patti,' and while members were initially skeptical, she proved her identity by posting a current photo. She expressed mostly positive feelings about her career, particularly enjoying the modeling and the friendships she made, and was pleased that people still remembered her. However, her past caused problems during a divorce and custody case, when her husband tried to use her adult career against her in court. Eventually, the group was deleted, and Ventura returned to anonymity. She moved frequently before settling in North Carolina and marrying her third husband in 2017. A motorcycle enthusiast, she rode often; four days after her passing, her children, grandchildren, husband, and friends took a ride in her honor, with her oldest daughter wearing her mother's motorcycle jacket.
