Biography
About Anna Kournikova
Anna Kournikova is best known for reaching the Wimbledon semi-finals as a wildcard at age 16, a feat no other player has matched. She turned professional in 1995 at 14. Over a 12-year career, she played for 12 years, from 1995 to 2007. She was born in Moscow, Russian Federation, and later became an American citizen. Her nationality is American and Russian. She is Caucasian. She stands 5'8" tall with blonde hair and blue eyes. Her body type is slim, measurements 36–24–31, and her bra cup size is 32C. She has natural breasts. A lower back tattoo, often called a tramp stamp, is one of her distinguishing features.
Kournikova's tennis career was notable for her doubles success. In 1999, she won the Australian Open women's doubles title with partner Martina Hingis. She and Hingis frequently played as doubles partners. Although she was consistently ranked in the top 20 in the WTA, she never won a professional singles tournament. Her serve was notably weak for a top-level player. She did reach the semi-finals and finals of many singles events.
Off the court, Kournikova became famous for her looks. People Magazine named her one of the 50 most beautiful people in 1998. She had a small role in the 2000 film Me, Myself and Irene, starring Jim Carrey, playing a motel manager. Her relationships were often in the tabloids. She started dating singer Enrique Iglesias in late 2001 after appearing in his music video for "Escape." The couple has four children: fraternal twins born in December 2017, a daughter born in January 2020, and another child born in December 2025. Today, she is a former model and tennis player, with over 2 million Instagram followers.
