Biography
About Alyshia Ashlee
Alyshia Ashlee, born Alyshia Comtois-Arbour, was a Canadian model from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, who left a mark across multiple international publications before her life ended at 23. She was 5'2" with an athletic build, blonde hair, blue eyes, and a natural 28D bust, along with tattoos of a peace sign on her right wrist and the word "Fame" on her left wrist. Active from 2010 to 2014, she started modeling around age 19 and quickly gained recognition. Her career included work as a Playboy model, appearing in Playboy Romania, Venezuela, and Mexico, where she was Cyber Girl of August 2013. She also graced the covers of FHM Spain, Netherlands, and Norway, and modeled for Glam Jam, UMM, and Chulo.
Alyshia passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014. The cause was complications from combined heroin and ethanol toxicity; cocaine in her system was not a factor. Her death led to a trial in which a drug dealer, Maxwell Johnson, was acquitted of manslaughter and criminal negligence causing death. The judge ruled that the Crown could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Johnson provided the heroin that killed her, a decision that drew attention to the case. She was 23 years old.
Despite her short career, Alyshia's work spanned several countries and multiple genres, from centerfold shoots to cover features. Her photos remain a tribute to her talent and the promise of a career cut short. She is remembered as a vibrant figure in the modeling world, and her legacy lives on through the images she left behind. Her story also serves as a cautionary tale about the dangers of drug use, a tragedy that resonated far beyond her immediate circle.
