About Victoria Tran
Black hair, brown eyes, and an average build, Victoria Tran stands at 5'5" and weighs 146 lbs. Born in Los Angeles, California on March 30, 1993, she is an American professional wrestler of Vietnamese-American heritage. Known in the ring as Viva Van, her career began in 2018, and since then she has competed for a wide range of promotions. Her travels have taken her across the United States and internationally, including stints with Impact Wrestling, All Elite Wrestling, and Ring of Honor, as well as Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling. In January 2025, she announced her signing with All Elite Wrestling, and later that year, on May 3, she captured the Vietnam Pro Wrestling Women's Championship by defeating Yuki Kamifuku.
Van's path to wrestling was not a straight line. She initially pursued a degree in accounting but soon found it unfulfilling, describing herself as miserable and not good at the subject. She switched her major to marketing and graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 2020. Alongside her academic journey, she trained in performing arts, exploring singing in R&B and jazz before gravitating toward metal, eventually becoming a vocalist for a death metal band. Her wrestling training came under WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi. A car accident, as she later recounted in an interview, played a role in enabling her to begin that training.
Beyond the ring, Van has pursued a variety of interests. She is the vocalist for the Southern California heavy metal band Mocking of the Trinity, which appeared on the Last.fm show Maidens of Metal. Under the name Victorya Van Tran, she has modeled for publications including Petite Alternative and Tattoo Envy, appearing as a cover model and centerfold. She has also launched her own line of makeup products, HellBent Glam. Her wrestling accomplishments are extensive: she has held singles championships in multiple promotions, including the AWF Women's Championship, BTW Women's Championship, and PCW Ultra Women's Championship twice. In 2022, she was ranked No. 50 in the Pro Wrestling Illustrated Women's 150, and she was named Southern California Women's Wrestler of the Year in 2021. She was inducted into the VPW Hall of Fame in 2023.
