About Victoria Lynn Johnson
Victoria Lynn Johnson, an American-born model and actress from Atlanta, Georgia, stood out for her fiery red hair and natural 36C figure. At 5'7" and 117 pounds, she had a slim, hourglass shape with measurements of 35-23-35. Her career in front of the camera began early, and by 1976 she had caught the attention of Penthouse Magazine.
Penthouse named her Pet of the Month in August 1976 and Pet of the Year in 1978. During her two years of active modeling, she appeared on a total of 15 magazine covers, including her first cover, the Pet of the Year issue, six more U.S. covers, and seven international covers. Fans sought her autograph at department stores, naval bases, and even Grand Prix events. In Japan, she was particularly adored.
Her most famous film role was as the body double in Brian De Palma's Dressed to Kill, a fact that became controversial when lead actress Angie Dickinson publicly denied using a double. People Magazine covered the story, and Victoria's role was later referenced in a Trivial Pursuit question. Diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer in 1998, she fought the disease for two decades until her passing in 2019.
