Vanessa Lane

Lane grew up in upstate New York with four brothers. Her family was conservative, and only Christian and country music were played in their home. Her parents encouraged her to participate in school activities like choir, theatre, and sports. She was athletic throughout her life, doing track and field, cross country running, gymnastics, cheerleading, and wrestling. She was the only female wrestler on her school's team.
