About Uschi Karnat
German actress Uschi Karnat began her career after training as a beautician. She first appeared on screen in 1971 in Jürgen Roland's semi-documentary film St. Pauli Report. She went on to appear in softcore films, including the 9th part of the schoolgirl report, before transitioning to hardcore work.
Her most notable roles came in the early 1980s. She played the title role in Josefine Mutzenbacher – Wie sie wirklich war (1982) and its sequel, as well as in Katharina and her wild stallions (1983). Over about twenty years, she participated in roughly 150 domestic and foreign productions. By the late 1990s, she moderated compilations of pornographic films on video.
