Biography

About Tracy Vaccaro

Edited by the community

Slim and 5'8" with brown hair and brown eyes, Tracy Vaccaro has the kind of look that turned heads in the 1980s. She was on track to be a ballet dancer until a knee injury at 16 ended that path. She turned to acting, and her most notable roles often hid her face. Her legs caught Burt Reynolds' attention in Blake Edwards' The Man Who Loved Women (1983).

Vaccaro became Playboy's Playmate of the Month in October 1983, appearing in the U.S., Italy, and Netherlands editions. She married actor and former football player Fred Dryer just before that issue hit stands. They met at the Playboy Mansion, divorced after five years, and share one daughter. They remain close and have worked together since. By 1996, she had remarried, to a former ballet dancer, and had three more children, including two with her husband Duane Dahlgren. Her career spanned from 1983 to 1996, as an actress, adult model, and centerfold.
