Tracey Ullman

Standing 5'5" with brown hair and brown eyes, Tracey Ullman has an average build that has carried her through five decades of performance. Born in Slough, Buckinghamshire, England, she began her career in 1976 at around 16 years old. She is British and American, and her work spans acting, comedy, directing, music, producing, and writing. Critics have called her the "female Peter Sellers" for her ability to shift in and out of character and accents.

Her early British TV appearances include A Kick Up the Eighties and Three of a Kind, the latter earning her a BAFTA nomination in 1984. She also had a brief singing career with three top-ten singles. After moving to the US, she starred in The Tracey Ullman Show from 1987 to 1990, which first introduced The Simpsons. She later created HBO's Tracey Takes On... and Showtime's Tracey Ullman's State of the Union. In film, she appeared in Plenty (1985), which brought another BAFTA nomination.

In 2016 she returned to British TV with Tracey Ullman's Show, her first BBC project in over 30 years, followed by Tracey Breaks the News in 2017. That year she was reportedly Britain's richest comedian and second-richest British actress, with an estimated wealth of £80 million. Her awards include twelve American Comedy Awards, seven Primetime Emmy Awards, two British Academy Film Awards, four Satellite Awards, a Golden Globe, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
