About Tonya Paulsson
With her black hair tied back and brown eyes fixed on the beam, she is a familiar sight in the gymnastics arena. Tonya Helene Paulsson, a 22-year-old Swedish artistic gymnast, currently represents Chinese Taipei in international competition. Born in Malmö, Sweden, she is of mixed-race descent, primarily Asian, and holds both Taiwanese and Swedish nationality. Her athletic build and 5'4" frame suit her sport well.
Tonya has been active in gymnastics since 2016, when she started around age 12. She claimed the Swedish National Champion title in both 2019 and 2020.
