Tera Wray

Wray's path to adult entertainment started early. She once said she wanted to be a porn star since the fourth grade. Before that, she worked as an umpire for a youth softball league, and at age 17, she underwent laser surgery to remove ovarian cancer, avoiding chemotherapy. While working as a Hooters Girl, she applied to Pleasure Productions through contacts at a local adult store, and in summer 2006, she became their first contract performer in two years. Her first released film was 'Sweet Smokin' Hotties' (March 8, 2007), and her first scene was with Lee Stone in 'Naughty Auditions.' Her first lesbian scene was with Nicki Hunter. She often appeared in alt porn, and in the 2007 film 'Tattooed & Tight,' she may have been the first to perform a hardcore act on film while a partner got tattooed.

Wray was a fan of heavy metal and hosted Matt Zane's 'Radium,' an adult-oriented music series. She also traveled with Ozzfest 2007 as a Hustler Lingerie model, where she met Static-X frontman Wayne Static. They married on January 10, 2008, in Las Vegas. She retired in August 2008. In 2009, Static-X released 'Cult of Static,' which included the tracks 'Tera-Fied' and 'Stingwray,' referencing her stage name and her Corvette. Wray became a widow when Wayne Static died on November 1, 2014. In 2016, she died of an apparent suicide at her California apartment. She was Caucasian, American, 5'6" tall with a slim body, brown hair and eyes, and had several tattoos, including kanji on her stomach meaning 'Southern Comfort.'
