Taylor Rain

Rain entered the pornographic video industry in November 2001 at age 19. By October 2003, she had shot between 200 and 250 scenes. She signed an exclusive two-year contract with Legend Video, which allowed her to cut back on scene count and provided a private chauffeur. However, Legend released her from the contract less than a month later, and she considered retiring. After a brief hiatus, she returned. In August 2004, she signed a non-exclusive promotional contract with Astrux Entertainment. In 2005, she made her directorial debut with the 1st Strike Films release 'Ass Up Face Down', in which she also starred. That same year, she signed contracts with Defiance Films and Torrent Entertainment, and auctioned a day with herself on set on eBay for $3,900. In March 2005, she won the 'Porn Star Beauty Pageant' on the Howard Stern Radio Show. She also briefly controlled the gossip blog lukeford.com, but stepped down in May 2006.

Rain announced her retirement in December 2005, expressing a desire to settle down and start a family. Defiance Films extended her contract for two years despite this. She launched her website clubtaylorrain.com after retiring. In June 2006, she announced she was pregnant but miscarried a month later. In February 2007, she spent twenty days in jail for possession of marijuana and driving under the influence, choosing jail over community service. She has since stopped using and selling drugs and now attends Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. In March 2008, she announced she was pregnant again and that the child was likely a girl. Throughout her career, she performed very few lesbian scenes, stating she was not attracted to women and disliked performing with them.
