Taryn Manning is an American actress, director, and producer with a career spanning over three decades. Born in Falls Church, Virginia, she moved to Tucson, Arizona, as an infant and later to California at age 12. Her parents separated when she was young, and she was raised by her mother and brother. As a child, she was active in dance, karate, and acting, laying the groundwork for a career that began in 1994 when she was around 15.
