About Tarita Virtue

Edited by the community

Tarita Virtue is a five-foot-four Trinidadian glamour model with a natural B-cup, brown hair, and brown eyes that match her warm, mixed-race Trinidadian heritage. At 56, she carries an average build, weighing 109 pounds with measurements of 31-25-35, a classic hourglass figure that has served her well in front of the camera. She was born on February 16, 1970, in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, to a Trinidadian mother and a Jamaican father, and raised in Boca Raton, Florida.

Before modeling, Tarita walked a different path. She worked as a private investigator at the Pellicano Investigative Agency in Los Angeles, and her work with Anthony Pellicano later earned her the title of 'The Sexiest Private Investigator in America' from Maxim Magazine. She has since changed careers, moving into acting and modeling. Her education is equally varied: she attended summer programs at Harvard, Florida Atlantic University, and the University of Miami, and majored in Sociology at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, before attending law school at the University of Florida.

Tarita is a woman of many layers. She is Jewish and studies Kabbalah. She has been a vegetarian for over 17 years. She is an animal lover who has owned dogs, cats, a potbellied pig, parrots, chinchillas, a bearded dragon, a duck, and fish. She was both Homecoming Queen and Student Government President at Spanish River High School. Today she is engaged to Michael 'Pharoah' Barrett, a two-time Emmy Award-winning 3-D artist.

Tarita's name has a unique origin. She was born prematurely during Carnival, weighing just 4 pounds 4 ounces, and her parents named her after Tarita Teriipia, the Tahitian wife of Marlon Brando, after reading a magazine article about the couple. When people ask her 'What are you?', she replies, 'A little bit of everything.'
