About Susan Miller

Edited by the community

Standing 6'1", Susan Miller was the tallest woman to pose for Playboy at the time of her September 1972 Playmate of the Month appearance. Born in New York City, she entered a beauty pageant early on, becoming a runner-up in the 1965 Miss New York contest. Her parents had unusual jobs: her father worked at The New York Daily News, and her mother worked at a clothing store for tall women. After her Playboy stint, Susan lived in England for three years with British writer and director Patrick Garland. Returning to America, she pursued a brief acting career with a film debut in the obscure drama "Branches." She worked as an adult model and centerfold from 1965 to 1976, a career of about eleven years. She's American and now 79 years old.
