Stacey Roy

Roy's first acting role came in 2010 as Jane in the film 30 Days of Night: Dark Days. Before that, she learned bartending at Uva Wine Bar in Vancouver. The idea for her show, The Nerdy Bartender, came from a bad drink she had at a dive bar called The Foggy Dew, where she used to work. She spent over a year developing the show on YouTube, then moved to Twitch, turning it into a live talk-show format where she interviewed guests while teaching them to make cocktails.

Her fan film work includes designing her own costume for StarCraft: Hunt for Kerrigan, which earned a Best Action Short nomination at the Geeksboro Film Fest in 2015. She also played Harley Quinn in the fan film Nightwing: The Darkest Knight, which was nominated for a Leo Award. In 2018, Roy sold The Nerdy Bartender to The Brewdog Network for a seven-episode season; it later moved to DrinkTV for a second season. In 2022, she competed on LEGO Masters Season 3 on FOX with partner Nick Della Mora and won. She then judged a Junior Master Builder Competition at LEGOLAND in 2023 and hosted the LEGO Masters panel at San Diego Comic-Con that same year. She also collaborated with Iron Chef Cat Cora at Little Kitchen Academy, and she made a special guest appearance in LEGO Masters Season 4 Episode 6. She continues to host and create, with no signs of slowing down.
