Sophia Macy was born on a Tuesday in August 2000, in Los Angeles, California, and grew up there as the daughter of actors William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman. Her life took an unwanted turn when her mother was arrested in a scheme to cheat on college entrance exams, with a paid individual posing as Sophia to achieve higher SAT scores. Despite that, Sophia was accepted into the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama based on her own scores. During college, her stage credits included Annelle in Theatre Aspen's Steel Magnolias, Kristine in A Doll's House, and Lizzy in Christmas at Pemberley.

Sophia is an American actress of Caucasian ethnicity, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She has worked in both film and television, appearing in The Chair, Shameless, and The Twilight Zone.
